Following the phenomenal success at last year’s Newquay Fish Festival the organisers are pleased to announce the return of Last Night of the Proms on Friday 9 September 2011 from 7pm.

Mount Charles Band will be playing again this year and following last year Newquay is certainly in for another spectacular evening  says 'Mount Charles Band are delighted to be taking part in the 9th Annual Fish Festival. Performing their much demanded Proms programme, if anything last year is to go on Newquay certainly brings along their flags, whistles and voices to enjoy an evening of traditional 'pomp and stomp' Cornish style!!

This year Newquay Fish Festival have lost £4000 from Cornwall Council so we are having to charge entry to the Last Night of the Proms, £4 for adults and £1.50 for children, but it is well worth the entry fee.  Tickets are available from Newquay Tourist Information Centre on Marcus Hill, it is suggested that you purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
